How to apply for Reception Class at St Joseph’s Primary school for 2026/27
If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 they will be due to start school in Reception Class in the academic year 2026/27.
Information about applying for a school place in 26/27 will be available on Southwark council’s website which will give you all the information you will need.
Main Steps
- You will need to complete a Southwark Council application form which will be available online at http://www.southwark.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions
- You will also need to complete St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Reception Administration form (available from school office) and return it to the school
- If you are a Catholic family you will need to bring a copy of your child's baptism certificate along with the administration form to the school office.
- If you are a member of another Christian Denomination or another Faith you will need to get your Minister of Religion or Religious Leader to sign/ support your application form.
The closing date for applications is 15th January 2026.
