St Joseph's Rotherhithe

Consultation

Thank you to everyone who shared views and questions on our proposal to establish and join the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust.

Our consultation period ran from Monday 7th October until Monday 25th November and is now closed.

On behalf of all the governors, we would like to thank all the parents and carers, staff, students and members of our wider community who took the time to write in with comments and questions about our proposal and to all those who attended our meetings to discuss it further with us.

We have carefully reviewed all responses to our consultation, which were presented to the governing body in a summary report, on 27th November. The governors have agreed to progress with our full application to become an academy and join the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust.

The Governing body remain clear that preserving the individual character of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School will always be a priority. We are confident that joining St Benedict CAT will allow us to stay in control of our own destiny by being central to the founding design and vision.

Finally, we would like to thank you for your continued support of St Joseph’s Catholic School as we work together to secure the best possible future for our wonderful school.
