Concussion awareness
Concussion has been a hot topic in rugby and other sports in recent times. There is now far more awareness of the potential seriousness of head knocks than say, twenty years ago. We should all strive to be aware of the signs and symptoms of concussion and be able to act accordingly. The Rugby Football Union (who run the game of rugby in England) have produced modules (titled `Headcase` for players, parents, officials and coaches to do just that.
While they have produced these relative to rugby they apply to any knocks in any sport or even during play. Please have a read of, and complete the modules- there are sections for both parents and children.
