Reception Farm Trip!

Reception had a great time in the sunshine at Surrey Docks farm today!

To get to the farm we had an exciting bus journey looking at all the things around us, many of the children recognised Canada Water station and the cinema. When we arrived at the farm we met Tracy who took us on a walk around the farm telling us lots of facts about the animals and their babies. We also saw some vegetables and herbs that were growing around the farm.

Each group got some food and went around feeding the animals, it tickled our hands when we fed the goats and sheep.

After our packed lunches we went on a hunt around the farm to look for some special things, we found them all!

We had a really exciting day seeing all the animals and their babies. The classes favourites were the ducks, sheeps and goats!
