Shang Oracle Bones in Year 5

What would you do if you wanted to know the future? The ancient Shang consulted special priests, who would carve your questions on to 'oracle bones'. These questions would be heated in a kiln until the bones splintered, and the priests would interpret the cracks to divine the future. These oracle bones are the earliest record of Chinese writing in the  world. Year 5 had a lot of questions they wanted to answer!
