Southwark Foodbank
'...for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.' Matthew 25
Simon Boxall from the Southwark Foodbank came to visit the children today. He explained the wonderful and necessary work that Southwark Foodbank does to support families in our community. As a result we are asking all the children and staff to contribute food and other donations to the Southwark Foodbank. These donations will be kept in our hall for the Year 5 Harvest Assembly and then collected by Simon and his team.
If you are able to donate please could you bring in something from the following for our collection:
Tinned Tomatoes
Rice Pudding
Tinned Fruits
Long Life Milk
Biscuits/ Snacks/Confectionary
Fruit Juice (UHT, Carton)
Jam
Cooking sauces
Cereal
Toiletries

Your support as always is much appreciated.
