Year 1 - science growing potatoes

In Year 1 we have been learning all about where we get our food from, like fruit and vegetables.

We planted delicious potatoes in our school allotment (http://stjosephs-primary.org.uk/News/Year-1-gardening/) and waited for them to grow.

When they were ready we harvested our potatoes and made yummy potato pancakes.

We have now learnt where some of our wonderful food comes from and we had great fun learning all about it!
