Year 4 Art- River Sketching
Year 4 have been studying the French artists Seurat and Cezanne as part of our topic on Europe. We decided to combine Cezanne's love of local nature and Seurat's style of 'Pointillism' to paint landscapes of the River Thames. We strolled up to King Stairs Garden and sketched the river on another beautiful overcast day in London and then returned to school to begin our masterpieces...photos of which shall appear soon!
